Tie it all together day...

Today is a day of finishing up projects and tyeing up loose ends. I have to run into town and fill some prescriptions that the Dr gave me yesterday. I have to take a low dose steroid to calm the colitis symptoms that I am having. They feel it is most likely a side effect to the chemo, which I feel is pretty good considering it is the first side effects and it has been 7 months since starting treatment. So to town, say hi to my friends at work, get home, do some laundry, clean the house, and try to finish cleaning up my studio and loading a quilt so when I get home next week I can get it quilted. If I get all that done before I leave in the morning I will be happy with the progress.

I won't be adding any new posts over the rest of the week as I will be traveling so I will hopefully be back on Monday with some pictures and fill you in on all the fun Thanksgiving, black Friday, birthday party activities that I am sure we will have. My plan today is to get ready for all the fun to be had and if I can leave home with everything at a point that I can pick up and start running next week when I get home then that's all the better. I have to go now and do all of these things so here is my wish for you for the rest of the week....

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving where ever you happen to be celebrating it. Take time to be grateful and thankful for all that you have. Remember to be a blessing to someone else who is less fortunate and give them something to be thankful for. See you next week.

Off to Pittsburgh...

Today is a regularly scheduled checkup appointment with my oncologist, only blood work and see him today. No scans or treatments today so it should be a rather quick appointment. I am going to call Dan when I am done with the appointment and we are going to meet for lunch. He and Stephanie bought Avery a rather large Christmas present and rather than mail it they want me to take it out with me when I go for Thanksgiving. So I get to see my boy today too. I like that.

So have a great day and have a great week preparing for Thanksgiving.
